چکیده
This paper developed an optimization technique for groundwater vulnerability in Kano Metropolis, North-Western Nigeria. A combination of DRASTIC is taken from initial letters seven parameters namely depth to water table (D), net recharge (R), aquifer media (A), soil (S), topography (T), impact vadose zone (V) and hydraulic conductivity (C), while GOD also represents confinement (G), overlaying strata (O), (D) multi-criteria evaluation (MCE) techniques were used the method by integrating other important sensitive pollution, principally anthropogenic point source pollution (dump site, petroleum stations, automobile shops under storage tanks). Geographic Information System was perform sensitivity analysis (SA) using single parameter map removal methods. Result revealed (N), model, conferment (G) model having significant on vulnerability, respectively. these four generate DNVG area. suggests that integration can enhance influence condition. The recommends application this study another area with similar geological a view validating or improving it. In study, several input data, such as sources contamination, are added existing part aiming optimise performance resultant models.
